NC leadership urged to restore vitality in five years

Kathmandu, March 30 (RSS): The Nepali Congress leadership has been suggested to stay in opposition and play constructive role for five years to restore its vitality and image.
In the ongoing central working committee meeting of the party reviewing the election result, central member Arjun Narsing KC said Friday that the political party must have tolerance while leading the government, and the courage during opposition.
He argued that if the party devoted to the ideological campaign by adhering to the principle, transparency and discipline, it could restore the image and vitality. Leader KC also suggested for effective opposition role from the local level and to the central.

Another central member Chinkaji Shrestha said the electoral debacle was the result of party’s deviation from fair evaluation with the provision of reward and punishment. It is not good to blame only President behind poor performance in election, he added.
Central member NP Saud taking part in the meeting opined that the party leadership should take common responsibility over the defeat of party in the recent elections.
Surendra Pandey also focused on discipline. He also said that the party leaders should review the past activities for better future.
